I've got enough to get me a steak!" - at Rustler. ![]() We keep it fresh by processing all of our local beef here in a local USDA-inspected Windham Butcher Shop located on Varney Mill Road. Windy Hill Farm in Windham also supplies some of our beef along with fresh fruits and vegetables. We acquire some of the beef from the Peppermint Fields Farm located in Fryeburg, Maine. One TV advertising campaign showed some grumbling "old west" cowboys checking their pockets, comparing their measly little possessions. At Rustler’s Steak House, we’re proud to offer fresh Black Angus beef, some of which is raised right here in Maine. Some Rustler locations were closed and in 1985 the 108 remaining Rustler locations were sold to Collins Foods and were converted to Sizzler Steak Houses. The Rustler is open Monday Saturday, from 5 p.m. Mariott sold the Rustler chain in early 1983 to Tenly Enterprises, which was a newly founded company. In addition to being nationally recognized, The Rustler has received countless rave reviews over the years, which means not visiting would be a real mi steak. Gino's operated Rustler from 1971 through 1982 when the Gino's company was bought by Marriott Corporation to add the Gino's locations to its Roy Rogers chain. A Rustler Steak House was usually located nearby to a Gino's location. The Rustler was a division of the Gino's fast-food restaurant chain. Rustler was in the same category as restaurants such as the Ponderosa and Sizzler steak house chains. Rustler Steak House was a family-style steak house restaurant with locations in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States.
